Deja Vu

So it’s my turn to write, apparently.
And why shouldn’t it be? My colleagues have recently posted their fill, and it is my civic duty to add to the ordered confusion. It’s not as if I don’t have enough to worry about, what with Jay using psychoactive drugs against me to please an alien master, and heavily muscled Derek exploding through my wall like the Kool Aid guy.
So I reflected on what to write about. I suppose you want to know what I came up with while reflecting? Well, it was a tanka. Want to read it? I bet!
I love a cookie
Do you love cookies like me?
Nature is cool too
Jay’s kind of a psychopath
Don’t leave me alone with him.
I’ve always loved the flowing nature of Japanese poetry. Serene.
Interestingly enough, during the process of writing this post, I received a major case of deja vu. It’s as if I’ve accused my friend of having a dangerous mental disease… before…
This can only mean one thing.
Really, I’ve never pondered the thought of deja vu all too much. This is mostly caused by the fear of the pondering circumstances occurring naturally yet again, and the consequential mind explosion turning my meditative conscious into a puddle of… well, Kool Aid. The paradox is staggering, and really shouldn’t be disrespected.
Even so, what causes this feeling? Chemicals? Small birds? Pet rocks? Feel free to speculate in the comments.
But seriously, I have deja vu.
